I’m sure you found this page looking for information about Wealthy Affiliate, scam or legitimate site.  Well I can tell you right away that it is a legitimate site but you will encounter many people who claim that Wealthy Affiliate is a scam.  I’m not going to just say “No It Isn’t”.

I’d like to clear up some mis-conceptions right now about Wealthy Affiliate.  First and foremost it is an online school.  The main goal of Wealthy Affiliate is to take people new to Internet Marketing and teach them from the ground up everything they need to know to be successful.

When you hear people say that Wealthy Affiliate doesn’t teach this, or that, or does a poor job of it, there are a couple of things you need to keep in mind:

  1. These concepts that are being boasted as poor training are not for beginners.  They are things you work your way up to.
  2. These concepts are also things that can be done in different ways and one person’s opinion of them can vary from another so the “right and wrong” way of doing something is subjective.
  3. The community does a much better job of helping people individualize their advance training as well as the 1-on-1 talks with Kyle and Carson (the owners).

So let us quickly recap, Wealthy Affiliate Scam propaganda is usually of the opinion based kind about techniques that are more advanced than the new Internet Marketer needs to understand.  If you don’t know where to start, almost every other product is going to confuse you with too little explanation of the basics.

  • Wealthy Affiliate Scam Claim #1: Wealthy Affiliate are charging a high fee. After you do some looking into sites that grow with you as you learned more, you’ll find there were only a handful that offered this.  Wealthy Affiliate gives you the tools you need for a significant discount compared to anywhere else.  Most programs cost hundreds of dollars a month where the best membership of Wealthy Affiliate is under $100.  If you don’t know if this is right for you, then the CHEAPER Gold Membership is perfect until you get your feet wet.  Compared to places that want to charge you $2,000+ a year, Wealthy Affiliate beats them all hands down.
  • Wealthy Affiliate Scam Claim #2: You can learn everything Wealthy Affiliate teaches you for free off the internet. Now this is completely true… But what else will you learn that aren’t helpful, that will hurt you rather than help you, and how do you know who to trust?  The other side of the coin is time.  How much time do you want to take searching the Internet?  Wealthy Affiliate has everything you need to know at your fingertips.  No searching, No questioning, No conflicting information.  The time it saves new Internet Marketers Alone is worth the membership fee.
  • Wealthy Affiliate Scam Claim #3: You are overwhelmed with information and mis-information on purpose to get you to pay more money. It is certainly understandable how many may feel this way but you can be sure it is 100% NOT TRUE.  There simply is that much information that you need to know at the upper levels of Internet Marketing and Wealthy Affiliate wants to make sure it takes care of you from new marketer to expert marketer.  They do have MANY ways for a marketer to get started and point you to the locations to get there on the main page.

Now these are the big 3 Wealthy Affiliate Scam Claims and I’m sure there are a lot more out there.  Just like anything, you can find the good and the bad.  If you try to find something about anything negative, you will find it, true or not.  So, lets check out the 3 Reasons To Join Wealthy Affiliate…

  • Reason to Join Wealthy Affiliate #1: The Training. Lets face it, if you are looking at Wealthy Affiliate to start your IM Career, you can’t do any better.  There are a lot more expensive programs out there that are a lot less helpful and have less to offer you.  You may not learn EVERYTHING from A-Z about Internet Marketing but you will learn more than enough to get you started, more than enough to make money online and more than enough to be successful.  Anyone that says you can’t make money with Wealthy Affiliate because it’s a scam is lying.  There are more people who are part of Wealthy Affiliate singing praises about it than people who aren’t.
  • Reason to Join Wealthy Affiliate #2: The community. Unlike other forums where you have bickering back and forth on what is best, what is bad, and how they can help you, Wealthy Affiliate members don’t do that. If you ask for help, you will get a kind and intelligent answer.  Even disagreements between two different strategies if discusses with facts, proofs and intelligence, not like some 6 year olds calling one another names.  And if you think you are the only single mom with 3 jobs and 4 kids on the site, you are mistaken.  There are so many great members of WA, all making money online in some form, that you are bound to find someone just like you succeeding.
  • Reason to Join Wealthy Affiliate #3: The Resources. One of the other things that Wealthy Affiliate Scam “Screamers” will claim is that the tools are bad, incomplete or down right horrible.  Lets face it, if you want the best of everything you’re going to pay for it.  The number 1 tool for almost anything is going to cost you $100′s per tool, and you can believe here are a few that really help you.  At Wealthy Affiliate you get great tools FREE with your subscription.  You can use them in any way you desire, things like Keyword searchers, a UNIQUE Google “exact quote competition” tool, FREE Webhosting, and even life Webinars, walk-through guides and support.  For less than the best tool in just 1 area costs, you can have an entire site at your fingertips to help you learn and succeed.

You’ll hear many of these reasons yourself when you go looking, and you might have a few people hit you over the head letting you know this was really the best place to start. Wealthy Affiliate is the #1 place to learn Internet Marketing.  Will you outgrow it?  Maybe.  Can you find other sites out there better than Wealthy Affiliate?  Nope.
